I use the E6X for boat fishing on clearwater lakes and reservoirs, fishing soft plastics slowly on the bottom. This rod is sensitive and powerful enough to toss lightweight soft plastic baits the long distances that you need in clear water environments. With this rod you will have no problem using 6lb test line with light weight jig heads.
