The Yamamoto Baits 2.5 Yamatanuki has become a staple in my fishing gear, particularly when I’m to clean up after I’ve already fished specific area. This bait at enticing any remaining fish that might be lurking around. One of the standout features of the Yamatanuki is its weight, which allows to cast it into spots that would typically be out of reach with baits. However, I have encountered some challenges with its durability; when fish are aggressively biting, I’ve noticed that the can rip more easily than I would like. Despite this minor drawback, I still consider it an outstanding option for targeting river smallmouth, especially given the wide array of colors it comes in. It truly is one of my go-to baits for certain fishing situations.
